Special Events

We have several special events throughout the year to which all - parents, relatives, friends - are invited.

Christmas Program & Dinner

The children work hard every year to present our Christmas program to celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus. 

Easter Program

This program is to commemorate the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus.

Mother's Day Program & Luncheon

A special program to honour Mothers and all that they do.

Sunday School Picnic/Sports Day

This family event is usually held at the beginning of June. It consists of games, races, and a picnic lunch.

Awards Program

All Sunday School children will receive awards for their accomplishments through out the year at this program in June.

Class prizes - awards based on attendance, learning weekly verse, participation, bringing Bibles to class and bringing friends.

Perfect Attendance- not having missed any Sundays

Outstanding Attendance- missing only one Sunday.

To qualify for the above two awards children must be in their classes by 11:50 am each Sunday.

Memory Work awards are given for those who do all the regular class memory work.

Top Notch Memory Program

This program is for those who love to memorize - students are given scripture passages to learn in addition to their regular class verses. Prizes are given by the teacher during the year.

Other Programs

Children's Craft Nights

These usually run from October to March and are held one evening a week for children from 5 - 12 years old.

Daily Vacation Bible School

This summer time program which lasts for one week, is for children from 4 - 15 years old.

There is singing, a Bible story, a craft and a time for games.

Summer Camps

We have two summer camps which last for 5 - 6 days each in August. They are intended for children attending our regular sunday school in Grades 6 to College and Careers. The Camp is held at a rented facility on beautiful Chilliwack Lake.
